Registration problems
09/02/08 at 2:47am

Well obviously, I was able to finally register but I had problems while at it that the forum owner may want to check into.

When typing in the email that I wanted (I tried 3 different emails that were @gmail.com and @hotmail.com), it said: "You may not register with or change your email address to one from the domain @*mail.com."

I had to finally use my website email in order for it to let me sign up. Sad

Anyway, I just wanted to sign up because I was a HUGE fan of TNET2 until it went down. It was definitely a huge disappointment. I hope to have fun on this too! Smiley Cheesy

Thumbs up on making it and thank you so much!

-Edit- Even now it doesn't let me change it. Sad Sad Sad

Hi

I can only assume that the reason for blocking *mail.com* is to prevent people from creating multiple e-mail accounts from those free e-mail providers to spam the forum. Alternatively, you could try using some other free e-mail providers that does not use the *mail.com host.

Hope that helps.

Hi there,

Thanks for responding.

Regarding the thread, I wouldn't like to create an email I'm never going to use just for this purpose. If I can't switch it for one of my accounts with hotmail and gmail, I suppose I'll just stay with the one it's on right now. Sad

Doesn't really matter which e-mail you use really, since after you get the e-mail to confirm registering, you'll never again get an e-mail unless you disable your account or something drastic like that.
